I Knew I Loved You When... Downloadable Slideshow

Have you guys seen the Hallmark card that come with a CD that you can add your own pictures to and create a special photo slide show for your loved one? I thought that was such a cute, cheap, inexpensive way to show your loved one that you love them. So I created a Powerpoint template, using a template from www.templateswise.com, that you can download and create your own. It should be compatible with all PowerPoint.

Once you download it you are welcome to change anything you would like. You will need to create more of the slide that has the picture on it. To do that, in Power Point 07, you will just need to:

1. In the pane that contains the Outline and Slides tabs, click the Slides tab.
2. Select one or more slides that you want to duplicate.
3. On the Home tab, in the Slides group, click New Slide.
4. In the layout gallery, click Duplicate Selected Slides.
5. Repeat until you have the desired amount of slides.

Then to add your own image you should just be able to right click on the image and then select change picture (at least that is how it is in Microsoft 07).

To add music, just a warning if you do save it onto a dvd you will also need to save a copy of the music to the DVD, 

1. In the pane that contains the Outline and Slides tabs, click the Slides tab.
2. Click the slide to which you want to add a sound.
3. On the Insert tab, in the Media Clips group, click the arrow under Sound.
   
4. Do one of the following:
   
   
   
   
   • Click Sound from File, locate the folder that contains the file, and then double-click the file that you want to add.  

Once you have the show created, I am not totally sure if you save it on a DVD if it will play, I will have to try it and update you tomorrow. I do know that most new TV's can be hooked up to a laptop and you can play it that way.
